Recycled rubber flooring for durability
InstaTile's special rubber crumb backing dramatically extends the life of the carpet top cloth and is fully recyclable at the end of its useful life. InstaTile combines an acceptable 'flop-weight' with a world class super-grip commercial underlay to produce an outstanding product that exceeds the performance of its hard-backed counterparts by a significant margin.
Why InstaTile cushion flooring is best
Our unique InstaTile construction produces a carpet tile that is lighter than the equivalent bitumen-backed varieties while being able to surpass these conventional tiles in terms of ease-of-fitment, comfort and durability.
When compressed, the rubber granules provide excellent cushioning performance but immediately regain their shape once the pressure is released. Consequently, InstaTile installations remain aesthetically pleasing and do not "ugly-out" as quickly in high foot-traffic areas.
The InstaTile ranges also pass the castor wheel test, while the rubber crumb backing is breathable, hygienic and does not degrade over time. If installation flooding occurs for any reason, the entire installation does not need to be uplifted - the excess water can simply be removed by means of vacuum and the InstaTile installation will dry in-situ, without any unpleasant odours being produced in the process.
